Description

American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring an active IN or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• -bed cardiac ICU (CVCU) using the universal bed concept, allowing patients to remain in the same private room from surgery through discharge
• Cares for general ICU, complex cardiology, IABP/Impella, and post-cardiac arrest cooling patients
• Day shift schedule from 6:30a-7p
• 3 days per week, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• 0.9 FTE position
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• , currently active, unrestricted IN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required per department compliance
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
