Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Obstetrics/L&D RN for a day shift assignment requiring an active CO or compact RN license and NRP certification.
Details
- Labor and Delivery / Obstetrics unit within a hospital setting
- Perinatal patient population
- Day shift with 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (Colorado state or compact) required, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP (Advanced Provider), AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM), and STABLE Learner
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a perinatal RN required
- Minimum of 3 years total nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric and laboring patients
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing in the surrounding area

Staff is great , CNAs awesome . Very small hospital , on call rooms for emergency’s you have or state of alerts . So small you don’t float unless you’re critical care nurse .
Cons
Admit kids and adults, slow seasons are slow on call shifts . OT was labile . Depends what season you work . Bougie clientele if they don’t wanna d/c they won’t .
