Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring GA or compact RN license and prior ICU experience.
Details
- Work in the Medical ICU/COVID ICU unit of a hospital environment
- 12-hour night shifts scheduled 1845-0715
- 3 shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- CCRN certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICU specialty required
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to Medical ICU/COVID ICU patients
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Returning perm staff must have a 2 year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront prior to offer acceptance
