Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of Echo Tech experience and RDCS or CCI certification.
Details
- Work in the Echocardiography department
- Monday-Friday schedule with 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- Rotational weekend and holiday shifts required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience
- Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
- RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- License required if applicable
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow
Additional Information
- Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflows in the echocardiography lab
- Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
- Critique positioning, technical factors, and alignment to maintain imaging quality standards
- Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Document exams accurately and completely
- Cross-train to other divisions of CV Services
- Assist performing physicians and sonographers in providing high quality echocardiographic exams
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates not accepted
