Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Float position on night shift, requiring a WV or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical Float role within a short-term acute care, major teaching hospital that is a Level II Trauma Center
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-07:00
- Uses Cerner charting system
- 330 staffed bed facility
Requirements
- Active RN license (WV or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Cerner charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- Black scrubs required, or a Cabell T-shirt may be worn in place of a scrub top
- If floated to Surgery, must change into facility-provided surgery scrubs
- Free parking available for travelers in both lot and garage
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
- Orientation includes required modules averaging 4-6 hours, with additional modules completed annually
