Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification for a weekend night contract in an acute care hospital setting.
Details
- CT Tech position within the Radiology/Cardiology department
- Weekend night shift, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No call required
- 12-week assignment length
- Adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU work settings
- Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck CT studies with and without contrast
- Performs special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA
- Performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
- Uses GE equipment and PACS system
- Utilizes multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) for image display and post processing
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Floating required to other Integris facilities within a 75-mile radius
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required, ARRT Advanced Cert preferred
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency in preparation and/or administration of contrast media required
- Ability to start peripheral IVs preferred
- Current driver's license or state-issued ID required
- Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address within the last three months required, with address more than 75 miles from the facility
- Two supervisory references required
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across a variety of body regions and specialty procedures as outlined above
- Must be willing to float to other areas, including other Integris facilities, within a 75-mile radius
- No block scheduling requests accepted
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO permitted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
- Any gaps of 3 months or more in work history must include an explanation
- Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position
- Previous Integris employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from employment to be eligible
- First-time travelers may be considered
