Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with spine and vascular experience for a fast-paced surgical services position requiring on-call coverage.
Details
- Work in the Surgical Services department of a hospital operating room
- Cases involve spine and vascular procedures
- Day shift schedule from 6:30am to 7:00pm
- Three 12-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours
- On-call coverage required from 7:00pm to 11:00pm once a week
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Spine and vascular surgical experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Provides patient and family education throughout treatment and at discharge
- Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
- Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement efforts
- Complies with regulatory standards and participates in the facility's Practice Governance model
