Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Orthopedic/Spine unit position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg/Ortho experience and a Compact or CO RN license.

Details

• Work on a 345-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit within a Magnet-designated hospital
• Patient ratios of approximately 1:5 on both day and night shifts, varying by unit
• Common procedures include joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury care
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Floating required with a flexible, team-oriented approach expected

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or CO State License) required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Chemo certification preferred, with potential to schedule on the Oncology unit
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

• Provide direct patient care for orthopedic and spinal surgery patients, including joint replacement and fracture repair cases
