Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring NC or compact RN licensure and IV start skills.
Details
- Work on a combined Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with dedicated Tele Techs handling monitoring
- Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Some weekends and holidays required
- Uses MEDITECH EMR (experience not required)
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of NC (Standard or Compact) required, not pending, at time of consideration
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- IV start skills required
- 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- 2 supervisory references required
- Copy of certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit alongside a dedicated telemetry monitoring team
- RTO should be kept to a minimum
- Local candidates accepted at the standard rate
