Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology Radiographer for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of IR experience.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a 225-bed specialty care hospital
- Trauma Level 2 facility with 5 exam rooms and 1 specials room
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Common procedures include peripheral interventions, biopsies, venous and arterial thrombolysis, EVARs, MMAs, and drains/drainage
- Uses GE Innova imaging equipment
- Cerner EHR system
- 8-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
- Every other weekend on call only
- Call requirements include 1 call night per week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks on a rotational basis
- Floating required to the Interventional Pain Clinic
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required
- ARRT Registry certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Experience operating radiology equipment and performing sterile technique
- Ability to scrub for a variety of IR procedures
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform radiographic imaging and assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures
- Work collaboratively with different providers and staff across varying situations
- Hospital-provided scrubs required as standard surgical attire
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
