Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2+ years of experience and WA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 226-bed, non-profit community hospital with 2 procedure rooms and 5 pre/post holding bays
• Patient population includes cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology cases
• Uses EPIC and Merge EMR systems
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled from 0700-1730
• 36 hours per week
• No weekend rotation, with weekends covered by call only
• On-call responsibilities include approximately every 4th weekend (Friday 1700 through Monday 0700) and one weekday call per week from end of shift until 0700 the next morning
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation
• Strong assessment and monitoring skills for clinical patient status
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in Cath Lab required
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support required
• Strong communication skills with patient care team, patients, and families
