Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN requiring strong, recent home health experience and a NJ or compact RN license.

Details

Home health setting providing in-home care to patients discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Patient population includes wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, ostomies, heart failure, diabetes, oncology, post-surgical, and orthopedic cases
Productivity expectation of 6 visits per day or equivalent, with admissions counted as 2 visits
Every 5th weekend and every other holiday required
Uses OASIS and Epic EMR systems

Requirements

Active NJ or Compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent home health experience within the last 12 months
Med Surg skills required
OASIS and Epic EMR experience required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Active BLS certification that does not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
Nursys verification required, dated within 2 weeks of submission, reflecting active NJ or Compact license

Additional Information

Provide skilled home health nursing care for patients transitioning from hospital or nursing facility settings
Perform wound care, ostomy care, and drain management, along with chronic disease management for cardiac, diabetic, and oncology patients
No mileage reimbursement provided
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
