Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT (R) certification for a 13-week assignment in an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Work in the CT/Rad Tech unit of a 120-bed acute care hospital with a Level 3 trauma designation
• Perform diagnostic x-ray, CT, and C-arm imaging
• Uses Siemens Flash and Siemens X.Cite CT equipment, Siemens and Hologic Mini C-arms, and Carestream and Siemens x-ray equipment
• EMR: EPIC (OneChart); Sectra PACS image viewing system
• Variation of 8 and 12 hour shifts across day, evening, and overnight rotations
• Rotating weekends with no call requirement
• 36 hours guaranteed with up to 40 scheduled hours per week
• Floating required to X-Ray, Fluoro, Operating Room, and CT within the hospital

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred
• 2+ years of x-ray experience preferred
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Active BLS (AHA) required
• Experience performing C-arm scans in an OR setting required
• Must be willing to obtain MN Net Study within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations across x-ray, CT, and C-arm modalities ensuring quality images for clinical use
• Unit-specific orientation includes training on x-ray equipment, C-arms, and CT modalities before working independently
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Scrub color is gray or facility-provided OR blue scrubs
• Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
• Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at an adjusted rate
