Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring CNMT or ARRT (N) certification and general nuclear medicine and PET/CT skills.

Details

  • Cardiovascular Testing unit in an acute care setting
  • General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT duties
  • Uses GE equipment including a Discovery IQ PET/CT scanner, a SPECT Optima scanner, and 2 Discovery Gamma cameras
  • Cerner EMR used
  • Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts (6:30a-3p or 7:30a-4p) with flexibility to meet department needs
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-call rotation Monday-Friday 4p-7p and Saturday/Sunday 10a-2p, approximately every 3rd or 4th week
  • 1-hour response time required for on-call
  • No weekend or floating requirements outside of on-call rotation

Requirements

  • CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • NMTCB (PET) certification required
  • 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
  • PET/CT registration or experience preferred but not required (training provided)
  • Y-90 Microsphere Therapy experience preferred
  • Must be open to learning PET procedures
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Performs general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
  • Orientation available weekly
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for this assignment
