Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Critical Care for a night shift ICU position requiring 2 years of CCU/ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care unit of a hospital environment
• Patient population includes trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, medically unstable, and cardiac patients
• Care for acutely ill patients requiring Q1H or more frequent monitoring, assessing, and interventions
• Night shift schedule from 7p to 7a
• 3 shifts per week at 12 hours per shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (MA Temp License accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of CCU/ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and full Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to acutely ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
• Blue scrubs are a recommended color choice
• No more than 7 days of RTO allowed during the assignment
• Returning perm staff are not permitted to return as travelers under any circumstances
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate for those within 50 miles of the facility
• Medical and religious COVID exemptions are accepted
