Description
American Traveler is hiring a Dual-Modality CT/Rad Technologist for a Free Standing ED requiring 1+ year of dual-modality experience and ARRT certification with CT advanced registry.
Details
- Work in a Free Standing ED offering 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services, plus outpatient imaging
- 11-bed facility with no trauma designation, serving as a Stroke Center
- Average patient volume of 70-80 in the ED and 60-80 in Radiology daily
- Patient population includes ED and outpatient cases
- Uses Shimadzu diagnostic X-ray equipment (room and portable) with Konica software
- Uses Siemens go.Top CT equipment
- EMR system is EPIC
- Medication dispensing via OmniCell and patient monitoring via Philips monitors
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
- Weekend position working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1900-0730
- Potential for floating within the department
- On-call and call-back requirements based on department needs
- 75% holiday coverage required
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dual-Modality Radiology (DX)/CT Technologist
- Active state license required if applicable
- Dual-modality Radiology (DX)/CT technologist experience required
- IV starts and 3D rendering using TerraRecon software
- Siemens equipment experience required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
Additional Information
- Perform dual-modality diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging for ED and outpatient populations
- Supported by on-site department leadership
- Orientation includes NEO plus 2 days of departmental orientation
- Black scrub color required
- Free parking provided
- First-time travelers considered dependent on experience level
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year following a permanent position
