Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer requiring RDMS certification in ABD & OB and prior pediatric/neonatal and OB-GYN sonography experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Ultrasound department within a 400-bed facility
- Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and neonates
- Typical exams include OB-GYN studies, neonatal head ultrasounds, and general sonography
- Uses GE Logiq and Voluson ultrasound equipment
- EMR system is Expanse
- Monday-Friday schedule, 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM shift
- Weekend coverage required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7p-7a
- Holiday coverage required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- RDMS certification in ABD and OB required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Pediatric experience, especially neonatal head ultrasounds, required
- OB-GYN sonography experience required
- General and vascular ultrasound experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including OB-GYN, neonatal head, and general adult, pediatric, and neonatal studies
- Must be able to work independently with a positive, proactive approach
- Scrub color required is hunter green
- Nail policy prohibits artificial nails, gel nails, or polish; nails must be short, clean, and bare
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
