Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Step Down unit position requiring 18 months of recent stepdown experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based position on the HVTI-Stepdown unit
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• 3x12-hour shifts only
• Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs of the hospital
• Facility will do its best to honor shift preferences but reserves the right to rotate as necessary

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required, preferably within one location
• 18 months of recent stepdown experience required; travel experience accepted
• PCU/progressive care experience preferred but not required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a passing score required on both
• Two attempts maximum allowed to pass required orientation assessments
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
