Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 3 years of ER experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

  • Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department treating all patient types
  • Patient population includes urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma cases
  • Manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes
  • Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (7p-7a)
  • 36 hours per week

Requirements

  • Active SC or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
  • BSN highly desired
  • Required certifications: CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and ACLS (AHA only)
  • At least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the ER specialty required
  • Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

  • Coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure safety, quality, and a positive patient experience
