Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med Surg/ED nights position requiring a Colorado or compact RN license and Spine/Ortho post-op patient experience.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting covering Med Surg/ED
• Cares for adult, ortho, and pediatric med-surg patients as well as emergency department patients
• Patient ratio of 1 to 5
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Minimum of 4 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Spine/Ortho post-op patient experience required with emphasis on Med/Surg
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across both Med Surg and Emergency Department settings
• No holiday time off requests accepted; must be available to work scheduled holidays
• Must reside at least 65 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates will not be accepted
• Facility housing may be available, potentially as a shared 2-bedroom/2-bath apartment
• Housing policy prohibits pets and smoking
