Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) with at least 2 years of specialty experience for a day shift assignment.
Details
- Work in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a medical center
- Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA certifications required)
- CRT or RRT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Compact or Louisiana license required in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
- Must be an experienced Respiratory Therapist; new graduates not accepted
- Two Manager/Supervisor references required prior to starting contract (Charge RN references not accepted)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered as long as they are experienced RTs
- Candidates must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if booked with a pending license
- Orientation is held five days a week
- Facility does not accept local candidates and requires candidates to live more than 65 miles from the facility
- Candidates must be prepared to discuss requested time off (RTO) during the interview process
- Former permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a one-year separation from the facility before returning as a travel employee
