Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB position requiring 2 years of L&D and postpartum/nursery experience and an active MN RN license.

Details

• Acute care OB unit setting with a 4-bed unit
• 1:1 patient ratio for Labor patients and 1:3 ratio for Couplets Postpartum/Nursery patients
• 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with rotation every third weekend
• Uses EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX systems
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• May float to Med Surg if OB unit is closed

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Postpartum/Nursery and Labor and Delivery experience required
• Med-Surg float experience preferred but not required
• BSN not required for this position

• Nurse's preference for scrub color
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at a locally adjusted rate
