Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab (IRF) night shift position requiring active RN licensure and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

Work in a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Unit specialty is Inpatient Rehab Nursing (IRF)
Patient population includes adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Common diagnoses/treatments include CVA, multitrauma, fractures, transplant, and cardiac cases
Patient ratios vary up to 1:7
Uses Cerner EHR
Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
No floating requirements

Requirements

Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Rehab nursing experience preferred
AHA certifications required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive rehabilitation nursing care as part of a physical medicine and rehabilitation program
Calm and friendly demeanor preferred for patient interaction
Royal blue scrubs required
Report time is 7:00 PM
Onsite parking garage available
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
