Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for circulating and scrub duties requiring a CO or Compact RN license and 3 years of related experience.
Details
- Work in the Main Operating Room of a Level III trauma center hospital
- 5 state-of-the-art surgical suites including a newly constructed 5th suite
- Surgical specialties include Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, Peds, and Ortho/Spine Trauma
- 4x10-hour day shifts per week
- Rotating evening, night, and weekend call required
- Call schedule generally includes 1 call weekend (Friday 1900-Monday 0700) and 4-5 weeknight call shifts (1900-0700) per 8-week scheduling period
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license in good standing
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field
- Proof of flu vaccination required with no exemptions
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process
- Perform both circulating and scrub duties in the operating room
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Traveler housing option available near the hospital, subject to availability
