Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
Night shift, 6:45p-7:15a, every other weekend required
36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience required
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

Provide safe, effective patient- and family-centered care to a telemetry patient population
Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient response to interventions
Coordinate patient/family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and function as a mentor/preceptor
Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives within a Practice Governance framework
