Description

American Traveler is hiring an Acute Care RN for a Med/Surg (Adult) unit requiring a current CA RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

Med-Surg Adult unit within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week
13-week assignment length

Requirements

Active California RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Additional Information

Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery
Incorporate patient age and cultural diversity considerations into care delivery
Administer treatments and medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and provide patient/family education
Contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement initiatives
RTO not approved unless specifically noted in the offer
