Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a rural critical access facility, requiring 2+ years of general ultrasound experience and ARDMS certification.

Details

• Located in a rural Critical Access Level IV Trauma center with 2 clinics, 2 operating rooms, and a 24-hour emergency department
• Performs general ultrasound imaging including abdominal, obstetric, and small parts studies
• Day shift schedule
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years general ultrasound experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS certification required in abdomen (AB), breast (BR), neuro (NE), and OB/GYN (OB)
• Current state license required, if applicable
• Echo experience and NBE certification a plus
• Must have reliable personal transportation

Additional Information

• Perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in diagnosis and study of organ function
• Support positive patient flow within the department
• Located in a scenic mountain valley near national forests and ski resorts, about 90 minutes from Denver International Airport
