Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure and TNCC certification.

Details

• 28-bed Emergency Department unit
• Staffing includes CNC, RNs, Triage RN, Medic, and Ultrasound tech on each shift
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Equipment used includes ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
• EMR system is Meditech Expanse
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC
• TNCC certification required for ER placement
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Prior patient care and emergency response experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform emergency care duties including intubation and central line procedures
• Team player with a flexible approach to unit needs preferred
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
