Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level III NICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Level III NICU unit located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital
• 7-bed unit with a 2:3 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses BCPAP and HFNC equipment
• Documents in Meditech and CPN
• Self-scheduling required
• Floating required as needed
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required, temporary licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of hospital/specialty NICU experience required
• Level III NICU experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Must be able to attend all deliveries, including C-sections
• Meditech experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide specialized care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU setting
• Work as part of a collaborative NICU care team
• Royal blue and/or white scrubs required for RNs
• Professional appearance standards apply, including guidelines for nails, hair, tattoos, and piercings
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
