Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring active TX RN license and NRP certification.

Details

• Level III NICU setting on the 2nd floor of the main hospital
• 7-bed unit with 2:3 patient-to-nurse ratios
• Uses BCPAP and HFNC equipment
• Documentation via Meditech and CPN systems
• 13-week assignment with 7A-7P shift schedule
• Self-scheduling required
• Floating as needed
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active TX RN license only - temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital/specialty experience required
• Level III NICU experience required
• Must be able to attend all deliveries including C-sections
• Meditech experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Care for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU environment
• Attend deliveries including C-sections as part of unit responsibilities
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility - no local candidates accepted
• Royal blue and/or white scrubs required for RN staff
• Strict grooming policies apply including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines
• One professional reference required for consideration
