Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract position requiring critical care experience and TX/compact RN licensure.
Details
- Medical-Surgical ICU setting
- 7P-7:30A night shift schedule with every other weekend required
- Work 4 weekend shifts per 4 week block of schedule
- No call requirements
- Uses Meditech documentation system
- Performs central lines, bronchoscopy, and bedside trach procedures
- Required to float to other units when census is low, including to other ICUs in the system
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required in hand, temporary licenses not accepted
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years of critical care experience required
- 2+ years of hospital/travel experience required
- Rotoprone experience preferred
- CRRT (Prismaflex) exposure preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Navy scrub color required for RNs (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only)
- No acrylic nails, nail length must not exceed 1/4 inch, and nail polish must be clean without chipping
- Hair must be worn off the shoulders and in natural color
- Visible body art should be covered whenever feasible
- Visible piercings other than ear piercings are prohibited
- Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
