Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract position requiring critical care experience and TX/compact RN licensure.

Details

• Medical-Surgical ICU setting
• 7P-7:30A night shift schedule with every other weekend required
• Work 4 weekend shifts per 4 week block of schedule
• No call requirements
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• Performs central lines, bronchoscopy, and bedside trach procedures
• Required to float to other units when census is low, including to other ICUs in the system

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required in hand, temporary licenses not accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of critical care experience required
• 2+ years of hospital/travel experience required
• Rotoprone experience preferred
• CRRT (Prismaflex) exposure preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy scrub color required for RNs (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only)
• No acrylic nails, nail length must not exceed 1/4 inch, and nail polish must be clean without chipping
• Hair must be worn off the shoulders and in natural color
• Visible body art should be covered whenever feasible
• Visible piercings other than ear piercings are prohibited
• Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
