Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT registration and CA state licensure to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Radiology - Diagnostic unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Scattered shifts throughout Monday-Sunday
• Performs CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging procedures
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice, if applicable
• Advanced CT certification preferred in CA
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment, if applicable
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials, if applicable
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Cerner and Epic experience must be noted in employment history if applicable

Additional Information

• Cares for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory
