Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring a PA or Compact RN license and OASIS proficiency.

Details

• Home health setting providing adult home health and home infusion care
• Coverage area includes Lancaster, Lebanon, and Eastern York Counties
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required every 4th weekend
• Floating across county lines possible when patient care needs require it
• May care for COVID-positive patients

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• ASN or BSN required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• OASIS certification required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with home health documentation including admission assessments, recertifications, resumption of care, and discharge planning
• Proficiency in skills such as wound care, IV/central line management, tracheostomy care, ostomy care, catheter management, and medication administration preferred

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive home health nursing care including assessments, care coordination, and patient education
• Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) or 1 of 2 if contract spans fewer holidays
• Maximum RTO of 7 days during the contract
• Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered local and offered a lower bill rate
• No license issues or disciplinary actions accepted
• Travel pairs may apply together, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
