Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and at least 1 year of experience, comfortable scanning patients with non-conditional pacemakers.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI department serving inpatient and outpatient populations
- Equipment includes GE 1.5 Signa EchoSpeed, GE 1.5 Signa Voyager, GE 3T Signa Excite, and Hitachi (Fuji) Oasis Open Air
- Schedule includes Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM and Tuesday/Wednesday 3:00 PM-11:00 PM totaling 40 hours per week
- Responsible for transporting patients after hours
Requirements
- ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
- Must be comfortable scanning implanted devices including non-conditional pacemakers
- Must be comfortable working with pediatric and sedated patients
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted for this position
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
- Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups accepted for this assignment
- RTO requests are limited to no more than 3 auto-approved days, with no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
- Onboarding modules are completed onsite during orientation
