Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department position within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
• Weekend work as needed
• May float to other facilities within the health system as needed

Requirements

• CRT or RRT accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• Active Ohio RRT license required, license required if applicable
• 18 months of recent experience in the specialty, preferably within the last 3 years
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required

Additional Information

• Must be nicotine-free as facility is a smoke-free environment
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Assignments limited to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any facility within the health system
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the health system for 1 year from their previous end date
