Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 1+ years of experience to work in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital's imaging department.

Details

• Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma teaching hospital with Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center designations
• MRI department serves 40-45 patients per day
• Adult and pediatric patients from ED, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient settings across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses
• Uses Siemens 1.5T magnets and EPIC EMR
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No floating required
• No rotation between weekdays and weekends; consistent shift schedule per contract
• Call requirement shared fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff

Requirements

• ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification required
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, with most recent experience within the last year
• Strong clinical skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge title
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

• Facility and departmental orientation includes a tour and introductions, typically 5 days but flexible based on traveler needs
• Holiday coverage expected unless time off is approved in advance
• Time off requests require manager approval
• Black scrubs required for technologists

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
