Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a seasonal travel assignment requiring at least one year of acute care OR experience and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Main OR unit within a 284-bed hospital with a staff of approximately 55 across day and night shifts
• Patient ratios estimated at 1:1 to 1:2, never guaranteed
• Utilizes DaVinci Robotics equipment
• EMR system is Meditech/CPN, prior experience preferred
• Typical procedures include vascular/hybrid OR, trauma, and neuro cases
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 3PM to 11PM shift
• On-call required from 5PM to 11PM Monday through Friday with a 30-minute response time, no overnight on-call required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Robotics experience highly preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience in large Trauma OR facilities preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Self-motivated candidates with a positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills are preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
