Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring EPIC experience and CA licensure.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Evening shift, 12-hour shifts (1400-0230), 36 or 48 hours per week
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC), and NRP (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS)
• Minimum three years of recent ER experience, within the last three months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients, supervising and directing nursing staff and coordinating care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment
