Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring advanced surgical skill in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular procedures on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Operating Room department in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Documentation via Cerner
• Variable scheduling with call requirements
• May float to other departments
• Night shift from 8:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular surgery required, no exceptions
• Broad surgical knowledge across service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration, Canadian SSN not accepted
• One professional reference required

• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
• Perform surgical procedures across a variety of service lines in a high-acuity trauma and stroke center environment
