Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with dual Nuclear Medicine and CT credentials and 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based role in New Brunswick, NJ.

Details

  • Adult hospital setting within the Nuclear Medicine department
  • Performs a range of Nuclear Medicine exams from diagnostic to therapeutic studies
  • Utilizes GE and Philips Nuclear Medicine cameras
  • Charting completed in EPIC
  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Works every 3rd weekend with no on-call requirement
  • No block scheduling available
  • Will float to Cardiac departments as needed

Requirements

  • Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Postprimary CT credential such as R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or NMTCB(CT)
  • Current BLS certification
  • 2 years of experience preferred
  • Experience with Nuclear Cardiology and PET Scan procedures preferred
  • CT or Fusion certification is an additional asset
  • Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable
  • May submit with a pending New Jersey license

Additional Information

  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine imaging studies in a hospital setting
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Locals accepted at the same rate
  • Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays
  • Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have a minimum 1-year break before returning for travel assignments
