Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT CT certification for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• 4x9 hour evening shifts, 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Thursday through Sunday
• Work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations; neonatal and infant experience preferred
• Care for outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU patients; NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Utilizes PACS system and contrast administration; biopsy and IV start experience preferred
• Perform abdomen and pelvis CT scans with and without contrast
• Additional specialized procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, vascular CTA, and cardiac calcium scoring
• May float to any campus within the health system as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT CT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
• Level I Trauma and pediatric acute care experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local rates apply
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; requests after submission will not be accepted
