Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform radionuclide procedures and nuclear stress tests in an acute care hospital setting.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Nuclear Medicine unit
- Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts including a 1-hour lunch
- 34.5 guaranteed hours per week
- Uses Allscripts EMR
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB
- NMTCB registry required
- NYS license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform radionuclide procedures on patients
- Conduct exercise and pharmacological nuclear stress tests
- Receive and prepare patients for nuclear imaging testing
- Complete required forms and documentation in the computer system for each patient
