Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, with CA licensure required and new graduates welcome to apply.
Details
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- May include occasional weekend coverage and floating as needed
- 36-hour work week
- Assignment length ranges from 13 to 26 weeks
- Any charting system experience required
Requirements
- CA license required (if applicable)
- 1 year of SNF experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
- BLS certification required
- Experience treating orthopedic conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, spinal conditions, and post-op cervical, shoulder, spinal, hip, and knee surgeries preferred
- Experience treating neurologic conditions such as cognitive disorders, MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury preferred
- Strong skills in patient assessment and body mechanics
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include developing and implementing home exercise programs and providing patient and family education
