Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a fast-paced, high-volume freestanding ER requiring TNCC, PALS, and CPI Blue Card certifications.

Details

• Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting with 52 beds
• Day and night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod
• Patient ratios average 3:1, with low acuity patients at 5:1 and team nursing approach for pediatric patients
• Uses Alaris IV pumps and Meditech EMR
• Performs IV starts, medication administration, procedural sedations, and pediatric care
• Shift schedule is 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI Blue Card certification required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Experience in a 52-bed or larger ER preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
