Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a minimum of 2 years inpatient OR experience and level 1 trauma exposure preferred, for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Work in a busy 17-room surgical services department staffed 24/7
• Covers a broad range of specialties including general, GYN, GU, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, and spine surgeries
• 12-hour shifts on a D/E rotation with day shift starting at 7a and evening shifts starting at 9a or 11a
• Required to work every 3rd weekend as needed and every other holiday
• On-call requirement of 1x per schedule
• May float to another OR location if needed

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Scrub experience required
• Must be competent in at least 5 of the listed surgical specialties
• Experience in neuro, vascular, general, GYN, and GU specialties preferred
• Two professional references required, including one at the manager level with a performance evaluation completed within the last 12 months
• Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B)

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for the local rate
• Previous BMC perm staff are not eligible for this travel position
