Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night-shift role requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting performing multimodality imaging (CT and X-ray)
- Serves adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients
- Performs CT exams including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular CTA studies
- Uses Siemens CT equipment with PACS/Sectra for imaging and Epic for charting
- Night shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Tuesday-Friday 9:00 PM-7:30 AM, including weekend coverage
- No on-call requirement
- No floating required between units or sister facilities
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
- BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
- SCRQSA (CT) and SCRQSA (R) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Skilled in contrast media administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety, and PPE/isolation precautions
- Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
- Proficiency with vascular CTA and Siemens equipment preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted
- Must provide own radiation badge, as facility does not supply one to travelers
- Black and/or teal scrubs required
- Free parking provided with pass distributed on start date
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis, though non-local candidates are prioritized; local radius rule is 60 miles
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
- During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be reassigned to emergency response duties
