Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and a full suite of specialty certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• 36 hours per week across 3 days
• Uses Epic EMR for clinical documentation
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency and business need
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS (AHA-issued, valid through start date)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to support patient recovery
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Monitor and review ongoing therapy and treatment plans
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
