Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT)(R) certification for a Level II Trauma Center imaging department.

Details

• Work in the CT department of an adult acute care and outpatient hospital with a Level II Trauma Center designation
• Average daily caseload of 80 patients
• Rotating weekend schedule with one weekend 8a-8p and the following weekend 6a-4p, plus every Monday 7a-5p
• 32-34 hours per week, with 40 hours available if desired
• No call or floating requirements
• Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, 5 years preferred
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certification required
• NH state license required if applicable
• Inpatient and ER experience required
• Proficiency with contrast administration, abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction imaging
• Level I Trauma, community hospital, children's hospital, NICU, and adult ICU experience preferred
• Experience with IV starts, aspirations/biopsies, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography preferred
• Comfortable working with patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics

Additional Information

• Unit orientation ranges from 20-40 hours depending on experience
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers accepted
• Travelers within 50 miles of the facility accepted at a local rate
• Former employees of any facility associated with the health system are not eligible for consideration regardless of separation length
• Perform diagnostic CT imaging including contrast administration, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and CT arthrography procedures
