Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother/Baby unit position requiring an active Oklahoma or compact RN license and NRP certification on a day shift schedule.

Details

• Work in the Mother/Baby unit of a hospital setting
• Care for mother and baby patient population
• Day shift schedule with 4x12 shifts (non-negotiable)
• Weekend hours required as needed by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2+ years of recent nursing experience in the specialty
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided

Additional Information

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for assigned patients
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
