Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring travel experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

• Emergency Department setting
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule (4x12 hours), either 9:00-21:00 or 12:00-00:00
• 48 hours per week preferred, 36 hours may be considered

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required; CPI preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Any charting system experience accepted, though specific system experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a plan in place for timely completion
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Must reside within 110 miles of the facility, and local candidates are not accepted
• First day of assignment requires reporting to San Angelo
